Age Group Fee:

• Adult (19 years and older): $215/wk
• Youth (9-18): $195/wk
• Child (3-8): $165/wk
• Infant (under 3): Free

Discounts:

• Only one discount above the early bird discount may be applied.
• Early Bird Discount - $35 per family will automatically be deducted from your total family price if you register before March 15, 2010.
• Pastoral Discount - Take 10% off a Pastor's camp balance for every family attending from his church. (Example: If two families from his church attend camp, he would receive a 20% discount.)
• Northland Alumni Discount - 15% off total family cost. This discount not applicable to extended family or Family Camp 2.
• Maximum Family Charge - $1,500

• If a family cancels 30 or more days before camp begins, all payments are refunded excluding a $50 withholding fee. If the cancellation is made between 14-30 days before camp begins, a $75 withholding fee is retained. If the cancellation is made fewer than 14 days before camp begins, the entire $100 registration fee is retained.

Additional Financial Information:

• An invoice for the balance is provided upon receipt of each payment. Paying the balance in full before arrival at Camp helps expedite the registration process upon your family's arrival.
• The Pastoral Discount may be applied to the senior pastor or divided among the senior, associate, and/or youth pastors.
• Five dollars from each registration fee is placed in the Special Projects Fund.
• Only one discount per family - in addition to the Early Bird Discount - can be applied.
• Discounts cannot exceed $300.
• An additional $5 charge per person is added for Family Camp 2.

Housing

Pioneer Village

Our beautiful, new Pioneer Village cabins are located across the lake from the main campsite. Rooms are air-conditioned/heated with a loft, oversized bathroom, and bunk beds for up to 14 people. This is a nice option for families who bring along bicycles or who enjoy a little extra walking. There is an additional $75 charge for these rooms because of size and air-conditioning/heat.

White Dorms

These center court rooms are located close to the Dining Hall, Chapel, Daily Grind and Rec Hall. Each room houses up to 10 people. These rooms are convenient for large families with small children. We are happy to offer air conditioning in a select number of white dorms for an additional charge of $75 per room.

Paul Patz Residence Hall

For more private housing, the Paul Patz Residence Hall is located beside the gym and approximately 200 yards from the main activity area. Each room comfortably houses four people (extra mattresses are available upon request for extra family members). Facilities include a private bathroom, public kitchen, public sitting area and vending machines.

Mamie Patz Residence Hall

This housing option is located 100 yards from the main activity area. Each room houses up to four people (mattresses are available upon request for extra family members). Facilities include a private bathroom, public kitchen, public game room (with ping-pong, TV/DVD, and foosball), vending room and handicapped-accessible room.

Family Camp FAQ

Q. When should we arrive on campus?
A: You may arrive any time on Monday to enjoy the activities on campus. Between 1:30 - 4:00p.m., stop by the Founder's Center to check-in. Make sure to come by during this time to pay any remaining balances as well as sign up for the week's activities!

Q. Is Family Camp at Northland really a vacation?
A: Definitely! We offer a wide variety of activities for all ages, and you can pick the ones that fit your style. Because our schedule is flexible, you can choose to be as busy or relaxed as you would like. With our affordable rates, you won't spend a fortune!

Q. Isn't camp for kids?
A: Of course! And moms and dads, too! The whole family will have so many fun-filled opportunities that you won't know where to start. You can't possibly do everything in only one week, but you're welcome to try!

Q. What kind of spiritual input can I expect?
A: You'll have several daily sessions available along with personal time for yourself or with your spouse. Our staff is available for counseling and we'd love to spend time talking with you.

Q. What measures does Northland take to ensure the safety of my family?
A: All of our activity areas are supervised and we provide a knowledgeable staff who will care for your children during the sessions and selected activities. Our full-time registered nurse is on 24-hour emergency call to administer first aid if the need should arise, and our overnight Security Team will keep a watchful eye on the camp while you sleep.

Q. What do I need to bring with me to camp?
A: Bring twin-size sheets, pillows, sleeping bags, extra blankets, health and beauty items, laundry soap and fabric softener, extra shoes and clothes for rugged activities, insect repellant, spending money, an alarm clock, a flashlight, a fan, a Bible, a jacket, a one-piece swimsuit, towels, rain gear, drinking glasses for the room, an iron, and bikes.

Q. What are Northland's dress standards?
A: Northland Camp desires to maintain conservative standards of conduct and dress. We prefer that men wear long slacks and collared shirts to each evening service. For daily activities, we ask that tank tops not be worn and that all skirts and shorts reach the middle of the knee for both men and ladies. Loose-fitting slacks for ladies during recreational activities are certainly acceptable upon your own discretion. We encourage knee-length skirts or dresses for each evening service.

Teens

One of the more exciting and active sections of the campsite during Family Camp is the Teen Group. With the help of a dozen or so Teen counselors, Counselor Supervisor Aaron Coffey plan out and run a week of activities, skits, crazy indoor and outdoor games, encouraging music, powerful preaching, and daily small-group devotionals. You can also count on a few surprises along the way. It's our prayer that your teen will end the week with new friends, wholesome memories, and a passion to serve God!.

Children

Babies Block (0-2 years old)

The Babies Block is for children 0-2 years old. Several of our trained summer staff will attentively care for your babies during each session so that you can enjoy the services and camp activities. Babies are divided up into two groups (0-12 mos. and 13-24 mos.) so that we can best attend to your children's needs.

Happy Hoppers (2-3 years old)

The Happy Hoppers group is for children 2-3 years old. During their morning and evening sessions together, they enjoy memorizing Bible verses (with special hand motions), learning songs, taking special adventure trips to the Ball Room, playing outside and making crafts for their parents. On Friday morning, the Happy Hoppers will be a part of a special program for parents, where they will recite the verses and songs that they have learned that week.

Primary Playhouse (4-5 years old)

Designed especially for children ages 4-5 years old, the Primary Playhouse offers a more structured program than the Happy Hoppers. The Primary Playhouse offers Bible lesson times, scripture and song time, a special story time, and a number of exciting trips to the Ball Room. This age group also has several game times so that the kids are constantly on the move. This year, we will also have a puppet theatre set up for some special shows throughout the week that the kids will love! The Primary Playhouse will also be a part of the Friday morning program for parents.

Backyard Gang (1st - 3rd Grade)

Our 1st - 3rd graders will enjoy a more advanced program offered in the Backyard Gang. Each meeting time, the "Gang" will spend part of their time as a small group working on a song and memorizing Bible verses for the Friday morning parents' program. They will also join up with "The Zone" for Rally Time, where they will sing songs, participate in Bible Trivia games, and hear dynamic preaching from a children's evangelist. These two groups will also have some intense competition on the game field and during the special "Night Hike".

The Zone (4th - 6th Grade)

Just like the "Backyard Gang", "The Zone" is a special program geared towards the 4th - 6th graders. During their small group time, the children will divide into small groups (called POWER groups) of 5 or 6 and a counselor to discuss a passage from the Bible and the preaching times from that day. "The Zone" also enjoys some special outdoor competition, an intense night hike, and a giant water slide down Northland's biggest hill! Your kids will not want to miss this!
