Every summer Northland Camp hires about 140 staff members, from many different universities and colleges and all across the globe, to come serve with us for 10 weeks. This opportunity inevitably benefits both the staff member and our camp ministry! Each staff member is personally discipled by a member of our Leadership Team, and we could not possibly serve all of our campers without the help of our counseling crew and operational team. If you are interested in serving as a counselor, waitress, kitchen worker, custodian, lifeguard, retail associate, technology worker, or nurse, please follow the links below to apply online.

Please partner with us as we impact staff members' lives for eternity; for more information about Laborers Together, click here.

We are looking forward to the start of Off-Road Adventure 2010! For those of you joining us on staff this summer, please check out the tabs below for crucial information. The work that God will do this summer in our lives and in the lives of campers begins now with our earnest prayers and fervent preparation! Begin studying I John 4 now, and let us know if you have any specific questions.

Staff Projects

mockupOur spiritual theme for Summer 2010 is "Life in the Gospel: Truth and Love" from I John 4. In preparation for summer, every staff member will memorize this entire chapter, listen to the assigned podcasts from Brother Steve concerning this passage (see below), fill out the I John 4 study guide, and intently study this passage before arriving at camp. In addition, every first-time staffer will complete the requirements outlined in the "Principles and Standards" project. We will collect the study guides from each staff member and the "Principles and Standards" projects from the new staff members during Staff Training. The preparation work of our summer staffers is crucial for Staff Training week, POWER Groups, and staff unity.
