Northland Institute Begins!
It’s official! The Northland Institute of Leadership and Ministry started classes September 11, 2017. Dr. Les Ollila, the first instructor, of the first class, of the first year of the all-new Northland Institute taught the first course on - that’s right – Biblical Leadership! That first week was followed by Pastor Matthew DeCleene teaching a week on Ecclesiology (doctrine of the church) and Mr. Jon Bladine teaching a week on New Testament Survey. Leadership, church, and the Bible, an appropriate start for a Bible institute!
Northland’s original academic ministry began in 1976 as the Northland Baptist Bible Institute with 16 students. We are thankful for the 14 students representing six states that God has sent to Northland Institute and eagerly anticipate what He will do in the future.
Talking about the future, it’s not too early to apply for second semester. As a matter of fact, because of the block class format a student may enroll at any time and begin classes mid-semester. Check out the Northland Institute website at northlandinstitute.org and apply today!
