Dear Northland Campers, Families, Churches, and Friends,
We are sure that over the last few days and weeks, you have been bombarded with news and updates regarding the COVID-19 virus. You likely have been receiving communication from various companies and organizations as to how they are handling the pandemic. No doubt, you have had to navigate personal schedules as you are impacted by school closures, supply shortages, and even work changes. Perhaps you are in a position that demands making tough decisions that impact others because of the Coronavirus. Whatever your situation, please know that we are thinking and praying for you!
At Northland, we continue to move forward. We continue our planning for summer camps and programs and anticipate a great summer for our campers, counselors, summer staff, volunteers and all who come on our campus. We are sure that after a season of quarantines and social distancing, many families and young people will be ready for summer fun! We will be ready when that time comes!
Our priority has always been to maintain the health and safety of our campers, guests, staff, and volunteers. We have been closely monitoring the CDC guidelines, health department updates, local and state government guidelines and recommendations issued by the American Camping Association. We are taking proactive steps to ensure that the summer camping experience can continue to be safe for each individual attending camp this summer.
The main source of strength and comfort during this time is in Our Great God! There is nothing that is beyond His knowledge, power or control. We are excited to continue sharing this faith in our God with our many campers, families, churches, summer staff, and guests.
To God’s Glory,
Jeff Kahl, Executive Director Eric Herb, Camp Director
