Women counseling women
2020 Dates TBA
Have you ever had a friend who came to you for advice and you weren’t sure where to go in the Scriptures to give her an answer? Join Debi Pryde for a Women Counseling Women Conference at Northland Camp. She will be covering a variety of different topics, which fall under one of two tracks.
Speaker: Debi Pryde
Debi Pryde has been counseling for many years and has a burden to teach and equip other women in ministry to counsel. She has taught and led various women’s ministries including seminar speaking, college-level teaching, Sunday school classes, soul-winning and visitation classes, counseling, and Bible studies. She is a certified Biblical counselor through the Institute of Biblical Counseling in San Diego, California. Debi resides in San Dimas, California.
Track 1 is for those who have never attended a Women Counseling Women conference. This year it is also open to any ladies who would like a “refresher course” before attending Track 2. During this seminar, Debi will cover the Biblical approach to counseling, the process of Biblical change, the underlying causes of behavior, and the steps in helping people who are engaged in sinful behavior patterns.
In order to attend the specifics seminar, you must first have attended a Women Counseling Women “Basics” course (which may be done this week prior to this class). Debi will take us to the Scriptures to show us how to find solutions to some specific problems that are prevalent in our churches today. She will examine each problem, its characteristics, starting points, development, and Biblical solutions. The following topics will be covered this year: Anxiety, Bitterness, Perfectionism, Decision Making and the Will of God, Helping Others Develop Personal Devotions, along with a few others.

For ladies that are planning on flying in for this conference, we are able to offer a shuttle from Austin Straubel Airport in Green Bay, WI. We will be in contact a few weeks out from the conference with all those flying in to confirm arrival times, and then get back with you on the times we will be traveling down to pick you all up. We will be trying to group travelers together in order to make as few trips as possible. Our shuttle fee is $120 round trip, but if there are other ladies flying in at the same time, we will split that fee between a group. Please contact the office with any questions, or to sign up for a shuttle.
